Make Your Dream Everything You Desire

Is your dream everything you desire?

If it’s not, I’ll guarantee, it’s going to be very hard for you to wait for it. It’s going to be extremely difficult for you to do the things that you need to do to make that vision a reality.

I’m encouraging you today to do a check on your dreams and goals. Check in to see if they are everything you really want. If there is a piece or part of that goal that isn’t really that important to you…let it go. Make your goals and dreams everything you desire them to be. When when you do, you’ll have something hat you are wiling to go that extra mile for…something that no matte how long it takes, you’re willing to wait for it.

Overcoming Challenges Makes Life Meaningful

When I was younger the Scream Machine was my most favorite roller coaster ride.

I can remember the adrenaline rush I felt each time I rode that ride… I couldn’t wait until we got to the part where we’d fly down the hills.

But in order to get high enough to fly down the hills, we had to first climb them. It seemed to take forever to climb those hills, but one we got to the top it was well worth it.

Our lives are like that roller coaster ride and the challenges we face are those huge hills we have to climb. Those challenges are what build the excitement of the great things in store.

Today, I’m encouraging you to change your perspective about the challenges you are facing in your life right now. Instead of dreading them, see them as the anticipation of the things that are to come. Know that when you overcome those challenges great things are in store!

Dream Dreams That Change The World

Now we know Harriet Tubman as the great conductor on the Underground Railroad who led hundreds of slaves to freedom. Freedom was her dream…her dream didn’t start out as the Underground Railroad, it started out as freedom…and once she had that dream, the vehicle by which to make that dream a reality appeared.

Plan To Prosper

For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. ~Jeremiah 29:11

Do you get excited when you think about all of the wonderful things God has in store for your future?

I know I certainly do. In fact, at this time in my life I am extra excited.

You see, in 35 days I’ll be celebrating my 35th birthday. (wo-hoo :))

I’m doing my little happy dance here because as great as my 34th year has been, I know God has even greater things to come!

So, over the next 35 days I’m preparing myself for the increased prosperity that’s coming my way. I’ll write down the visions God has given me. I’ll examine the resources I’l need. I’ll look at what’s worked well in the past and what I need to improve on. This time is very important for me and I don’t take it for granted.

Why? Because over the past 34 years (with mush trial and error) I’ve learned that prosperous living isn’t something that just happens. There’s some work you have to do to get ready for it.

PROSPER POINT

Take a look at Jeremiah 29:11 – God plans for us to prosper. This scripture tells me that prospering in life is not accidental or haphazard. It doesn’t just happen. Prosperous living requires more than just wishing or intentions. It requires preparation and planning.

Oftentimes we get so caught up in the end result that we rush right in and fail to make proper preparation to ensure our success. I’m sure you’ve heard the saying – “if you fail to plan, plan to fail.”

Today, I’m challenging you to have a purposeful approach to your prosperity. Don’t just wish for it – plan for it!
